The sick men of Europe

Nicolai Sennels writes An Open Letter to David Cameron, graciously hosted by Gates of Vienna. It is a well argued piece, well supported with evidence and, as we know, facts are stubborn things.

Unfortunately, facts are not as stubborn as men who have proven unwilling to pay heed to them. David Cameron has made a calculation about his personal - and his class - interest and as these do not coincide with the interests of the English people, the English people must suffer for his pleasure.

  1. I like your blog, but I have one iddy biddy complaint: The bright blue type against the black background causes my eyes to hurt. seriously.
I worked at a newspaper for many years, working with color separation and in the advertising/proofreeding section. One of the bĂȘte noirs of graphics is using the right colors that will not cause the reader to go into seizures:
Might I suggest a paler blue? The gray is also a pleasing compliment to the black background.
    Much obliged, thank you.

  2. Thanks, Jewel! I am still working out the bells and whistles on Blogger. I will try something in a less radioactive shade of blue. Bese, Malik
